If you get the chance this summer, read the new book "Pistol," by Mark Kriegel, about Pete Maravich. If you're a coach with a son, I'd say it's a must-read, but it's a good read for anyone who has children. It's incredibly well written.The first 100 pages or so are about Pete's Dad, Press Maravich, who was a fascinating guy. It then goes into Pete's days at LSU, then his career as a pro. It finishes with Pete's post-playing career.
