A few years ago, when playing a game in Oklahoma City, I remember sitting on the bench, watching the crowd, and thinking how much the fans there genuinely loved NBA basketball. Off the top of my head I could think of three or four cities that didn't appreciate their NBA franchises as much as OKC would.In my experience, the fans there are knowledgeable and passionate. Moreover, they're friendly. More than one player told me how the people there treated them almost like a the way a college campus treats its team when it's the only show in town.
