It's always the simple that produces the marvelous

My sister, who studied literature as a grad student in college, is a big fan of novelist Amelia Barr, who once wrote:

"It is always the simple that produces the marvelous."

Perhaps SFO coach Mike Singletary is a Barr fan, too.

Winners of two of their last three games, including a victory over the Jets and a close loss to MIA, the 49ers' improved play can be traced to Coach Singletary's move to "simplify things."

According to one SF player: "We're basically sticking with what we do well."

“Think simple --
reduce the whole of its parts into the simplest terms,
getting back to first principles.”
-- Frank Lloyd Wright
