Using video to make a point

As new TOR coach Jay Triano installs a new defensive system he'll rely a good deal on "video training" designed to help prevent physical fatigue as his guys learn it.

Before a recent practice, Coach Triano showed "graphic footage of how [the Raptors] went from forcing seven first-quarter turnovers on Sunday to merely waving at passing Trail Blazers."

"It's a matter of three feet," Triano said. "Our guys weren't up. They weren't pressuring. It makes a difference to everybody else behind you because it doesn't give them time to get to the proper location. We showed them clips of exactly that, comparing the first quarter to the third."

According to Jermaine O'Neal: "The cameras don't lie."
