A key to NBA coaching success

Interesting quote from Bucks owner Senator Herb Kohl, who has owned the team for more than 25 years:

“I’ve always said that coaching in the NBA makes a big difference, for all the reasons you could imagine. Players have different agendas, they have different personalities and come from different backgrounds. Putting them together in a way that makes them winners is not a talent every coach has.”

Senator Kohl also praised his coach, Scott Skiles:

"I think he’s the best coach in the Eastern Conference. There’s not another coach in the Eastern Conference I would trade for Scott Skiles. In the Western Conference there are guys like Phil Jackson, Popovich and Rick Adelman (at Houston) who are guys at the top of their profession, and that’s where I think Scott Skiles fits in."
