Expectations at Auburn were high when offensive coordinator Tony Franklin installed a new spread offense in the offseason. So with the Tigers' offense sputtering, Franklin hasn't shied away from criticism.According to this article, "with candor, Franklin has again held himself entirely accountable, [telling] news reporters last week":
"I've done a crappy job of coaching football. … All the screw-ups are mine, trust me. … Hell, if I was (the fans), I'd boo me. I'd be angry. This product has not been good, and it was my product."
