Friendships off the court translate to unselfish play on it

With a win over Nebraska on Saturday, Mike Anderson's Mizzou Tigers have moved to 22-4 on the season and have nearly cracked the top 10.

Coach Anderson says his team is a reflection of the relationships the players have with each other. In his words: "I think they like one another."

According to this story, Mizzou's "early season trips to Canada and Puerto Rico helped the team bond. Spending eight weeks together before school started brought players together as well."

"Our friendships off the court, I always say, translates to unselfish play on the court because we always want to see our guy, our friend, get a block or a dunk or a steal," said freshman Kim English. "It's just fun to play with your friends. We're just a bunch of college friends playing basketball."
