You can't take a loss and hold on to it

Saw a quote yesterday from Kobe Bryant talking about the Lakers' four-point loss at Utah on Wednesday, his team's last game before the All-Star break.

Kobe acknowledged that LA didn't play well, but kept the loss in perspective.

"We just didn't play well defensively. We didn't play hard enough on defense. We played lazy. They got a lot of points in the paint. It's one game. It's good that (my teammates) have a competitive spirit, but they can't take a loss and hold on to it. You can't get too hard on yourself or you don't play your best basketball."
